The Mesquite Colts has voted last year’s leading scorer and fan favorite, Ethan Fox, as captain for the 2009/10 season. Fox will wear the “C” on his number 6 jersey. He has played forward for the Mesquite Colts Ice Hockey Club since 2007. This is Fox’s third season with the Colts. He also plays for the Duncanville Dragons and has been a league leader in point totals with the Dallas Stars Junior Hockey League.
Fox was voted captain by his team mates, in large part for the fact that he never fails to give everything he has every time he’s on the ice. Fox will be assisted by three assistant captains: seniors Dylan Nessman, Justin Ivy, and Tanner Holubar.
