BY TANNER HOLUBAR, ASSISTANT CAPTAIN
First off I want to say how much I liked the effort my team showed in this game. In hockey, trailing 5 to 0 can be a chance for a team to pack it in and look to the next game. It shows a lot about the heart of a team when they can keep skating hard and not give up and make a strong comeback to finish out a game. We had a problem on last years Colts team that when we got down by a couple goals we would sometimes give up and get lazy with our play, letting the other team dominate the play.
I also want to congratulate Matt Jenkin on scoring his first career goal as a Colt. Keep playing the same way Matt and you will score a lot more goals just like the one you scored.
If we can play the whole game like we did the second half of the Mckinney game we can beat anybody. Hard work and perserverance will help us win a lot of games.
